1. How to Delete Your Account (in the App)
Where to find it
- Open the app
- Go to Settings: App > Settings
- Account: Settings > Account
- Select Delete Account: Account > Delete Account
- Review the notices and proceed
This flow is available from the app’s Settings > Account screens.
Email sign-in users
- You will be asked to enter your current password to verify ownership.
Social login users
- You can proceed directly to the final confirmation step (no password step).
2. Data That Will Be Deleted
- Account info: email, nickname, profile photo
- User content: posts, comments, uploaded media
- Relationship data: follows/following, interest subscriptions
- In‑app personal settings and notification lists
3. Data That May Remain (Legal Retention)
- Access and security logs (e.g., IP, device info, access records)
- Minimal records required for service security and operations
- Data retained for periods required under applicable law
Any retained data follows data‑minimization principles and applicable laws. If no legal obligation applies, no data is retained.
4. Notes
- After deletion, you will not be able to log in.
- Some data may be retained for a limited time for legal or security reasons.
- Deletion requests are irreversible.
5. Deleting Posts and Content (in the App)
Posts
- Open the post
- Tap Options (⋯) and choose Delete
Diary entries
- Open the diary entry
- Tap More and choose Delete
Comments
- Open the comment menu
- Select Delete
Profile photo
- Go to Settings > Account
- Open profile edit and remove or change your photo
If you prefer not to delete, you can hide items from your profile using in‑app hidden content controls.
